I just got off the phone and our favorite Glendale AZ dentist Stacey Layman. She has just touched down in Texas! We are so proud of Dr. Layman our international speaker! Thats right Lumineers invited their favorite dentist to speak at a conference in Amsterdam. We can now call her an international teacher of Lumineers. Dentists from the Netherlands are now that much closer to achieving their Lumineer dreams. The funny thing is all the before and afters she was showing were of nice white smiles and to them they were glow-in-the-dark white. The lightest shade they do is considered brown here in the USA. So they may be ahead of us in the fashion world but worlds away in beautiful white, healthy smiles. Teeth whitening is a dirty word he he he. So back to work on Monday morning.

Dental Sleep appliances for sleep apnea and snooring

This is going to be a busy month for us in June! This weekend Dr. Layman will be in Texas yee haw ( I don’t know if that is how you spell it seeing that I am Canadian) Teaching a Lumineers class and then jumping over to meet up with Dr. Freydberg and I for the annual AASDM meeting. That stands for American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. We are exited to learn about the advances in Dental Sleep Medicine for treatment of Sleep apnea. We really don’t know how anyone could sleep with one of those crazy masks and air blown up their nose at 70 MPH. We do know that Sleep apnea is nothing to fool around with and it needs to be treated. We are exited to offer a Dental Sleep Appliances to our patients so they can replace their CPAP machine.We hope to learn what’s new and the latest advances and bring it back to the office. Snap on Smile Update

Just wanted to share a special story about a very sweet patient of ours. About two years ago she came to us for a complementary Lumineers consultation to improve her smile. She had spaces between all of her teeth and they were yellow. She did not like anything about her teeth and even disliked the shape of her teeth. We discussed some options, Lumineers or Invisalign. We reviewed the cost and also did an exam and x-rays. Unfortunately she needed some root canal work and we assured her that was her priority and stressed the need to get her teeth and gums healthy and then we would address the cosmetics. Every once and a while she would come to visit us and make a pre- payment to go towards her Lumineers. A few weeks ago she came in and was devastated about not having the smile she wanted yet and was feeling like she was never going to get her Lumineers. “Guess what!? We now have a snap on smile available and you have more then enough in your account to pay for it and we can give you that smile you want it three weeks!” I told her. You should have seen her face! It lit up with excitement and we got her in right away with Dr. Barry Freydberg. We took her impressions and photos she picked the style and color she liked and we sent it off to Denmat. Our new website is up and running and almost finished how exiting! We have wanted to update it and reach out to new potential patients who are looking for a great dentist for Lumineers, Kor deep bleaching, Implants, Invisalign or overall general dentistry. We are in Glendale Arizona but are lucky to have patients who visit us from Peoria, Phoenix, Scottsdale and as far as Mesa, Chandler, Prescott, Flagstaff and Sedona. To date we even have a patients comes all the way from New Mexico to see us for her Lumineers ( but she does have a grand-baby and daughter she visits so I guess it’s not all us) We have made Video’s to show you how easy Lumineers or Invisalign can be as well as some before and afters to check out but there are many more to come.
